Thomas Biro is a landscape architect located in New Jersey.  His firm, Thomas Biro Associates, LLC., has won numerous awards for their residential and commercial landscape designs.  Thomas brings an artistic touch to the outdoors, integrating the natural and built environment to accomplish results that exceed his clients expectations.   He has worked for over twenty five years in the field and has vast experience and knowledge in site design, landscape design, and construction supervision.  He has worked on a variety of project types including;  parks, therapy gardens, rooftop gardens, and hundreds of residential landscapes and garden designs.  He will manage your project from the initial inspiration and throughout the design and construction phases.

Residential Landscape Design

Thomas has designed hundreds of  residential landscape designs.  Thomas will personally meet with the homeowner, walk the property, and discuss the project.  A program is developed based on the owners wishes and project requirements.   The design process begins by preparing a computer base-plan of the property.  A site analysis of the property is then conducted, including relevant topography and pertinent features of the site.  A conceptual plan is prepared showing  proposed site elements and plantings.  The homeowner and Thomas will meet a number of times to review plans, make changes, discuss details, select materials, and determine construction phasing, budgets and schedule.  Thomas will help in the selection of contractors and assist in soliciting bids, obtain necessary permits and conduct construction supervision.  The following are a list of some of the possible design projects available.

Thomas received his degree in Landscape Architecture from Cook College, Rutgers University.  He has worked in the field for over twenty five years.  During that time, he has designed a diverse range of projects including;  parks, rooftop gardens, office parks, therapy gardens, streetscapes, and hundreds of residential landscapes.  He is the principal of Thomas Biro Associates, LLC, established in 1993.  He has served on his town’s Architectural and Site Design Committee and also the Street Tree Committee for over five years.  He has won many awards for his designs.  Throughout the years he has developed a collaborative relationships with other professionals and contractors to implement his design ideas.  To communicate his vision, his office utilizes the latest in computerized design tools for drafting, rendering, and creating 3D models .  His landscapes incorporate both aesthetic and functional elements  that meet and exceed the expectations of his clients.
